π Summer’s here! π

Well, we made it! First year of University is over and I’m honestly glad to say that I did my best. The first semester was a bit of a struggle but I blew the second one out of the water. Aced 3 of my 4 classes and got a B in the fourth. A huge improvement to my first I’m pumped and ready to take on the next couple of years. my goal for the upcoming years is a 4.0 so look out Georgia Techπ.
Podcast
Other than my excitement for the end of the school year, I’ve spoken to my Podcast co-host and we have decided to keep the schedule of two episodes a month. These might be a bit longer than our previous since we will have more time to prepare and much more content and projects to cover.
Projects
I’ve got a ton of things I want to do this summer. First of all, I intend to finish my Second N64 portable. I’ve got 95% of the materials needed and I plan to order the rest over the course of the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned to updates each week as I hack my way around the N64 motherboard and wire it.
Another project I have been looking forward to working on is to study a bit of Machine Learning and hopefully create something such as an AI that can play checkers. The fact that I only know C, Java, and Matlab puts me at a bit of a disadvantage since most of these types of programs use C++ and Python. It shouldn’t be too difficult to transition so i’m looking forward to it.
Internships
I’m still waiting on Hewlett-Packard to get back to me on my Internship for them but as of now, there has been nothing. I am looking to apply to more for this summer and based on the results of this semester, i’m fairly confident that grades (and the improvement from last semester) will be something that might turn recruiters heads. If you happen to be an Engineering recruiter/ employee looking for an undergrad EE student in the Atlanta Suburb area, please let me know. Email: kams@kamselectronics.com .
I think thats about it for this week stay tuned for more podcasts, posts, and updates and remember:
Stay Teckie! π
Congratulations for your grades…
You did the best…
