NES Portable V2
This is my Second NES Portable. I completed it during the first week of 2018. It took me about 2 days to make.It was inspired by the handheld made by my friend on his youtube channel here. This handheld is much smaller than the first one I made. And one of the main differences is that this was my first portable using 18650 Battery Cells. This console runs for about 4 hours per charge which comes to another difference between the first. Because this portable uses 18650’s I decided to go with a micro USB charging board. This means all that is required to charge this is a USB Cable. Later on, I added a headphone jack allowing for the use of any headset. One downside to this portable is the position of the NES Cartridge. Because it sticks out on the back, It acts as a stand. This doesn’t affect any game play from my experience but it does put strain on the cartridge. This issue will be address in any later projects such as this.
